It is all printed in the colors seen, so NO paint is needed. Additional colors are available upon request. While printed in durable PLA, it can be subject to heat. After all, that's how 3D printing works! I advise mounting or hanging this birdhouse in a shaded place and NOT in direct sunlight. Doing so could cause the house to warp in the heat.
