Milo Pinkerton
President
Over nearly 30 years, Milo Pinkerton has developed more than 2,200 units. His unique background of architecture, real estate and construction allows him to successfully oversee and direct all aspects of MSP’s operations, ensuring steady growth, consistent profitability and increasing cash flows annually. Milo works hands-on with the development and construction teams and coordinates the management and direction of both MSP and Heritage.
Prior to forming MSP, Milo was vice president and manager of special projects for ITT Real Estate Services, where he was in charge of the disposition of $50 million of troubled real estate nationwide. Milo was also project director with a regional development/construction company, Orville E. Madsen and Sons, where he was in charge of developing over 450 units. Milo has a master’s in business with an emphasis in real estate investment from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s in architecture from the University of Minnesota.
Brian Martin
Vice President of Asset Management
Brian Martin serves as the Vice President of Asset Management for both MSP and Heritage Senior Living. He heads up operations of MSP Property Management.
Brian has been in the real estate management industry for over 14 years and was previously a regional asset manager, overseeing a portfolio of roughly 50 properties and more than 3,350 units throughout Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa.
Brian’s experience covers market rate, tax-exempt bond, HUD Section 8 and HOME, USDA Rural Development and Low Income Housing Tax Credit financed developments.
Jason Sikorski
CFO
Jason Sikorski serves as the Chief Financial Officer for MSP Real Estate and Heritage Senior Living. He has over 20 years of accounting and finance experience in the senior living industry. Most recently, Jason worked as the Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis at Brookdale Senior Living and previously worked as a Controller at Direct Supply. He began his career in public accounting as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Jason obtained his BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jason also obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant certifications.
Mark Hammond
Director of Development
Mark Hammond leads all real estate development activities and assists the company in identifying and overseeing legal issues in other core areas. Mark actively manages all aspects of the development process, including site acquisition and approval, financing, design and value engineering, construction, and lease-up.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in economics, an MBA in real estate, and a Juris Doctor, all from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Ben Shearer
VP of Construction
As the VP of Construction, Ben leads the construction operations at MSP. He is involved in all aspects of our projects from concept to completion.
Ben has nearly 20 years of experience building more than 140 projects throughout the U.S. during his career. Ben is a UW-Stout Construction Management graduate.
Nicole Sorensen
Regional Property Manager
As the Regional Property Manager, Nicole is responsible for overseeing daily MSP site operations. She has 12 years of experience in the Property Management industry.
Nicole holds her Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) credential through the National Apartment Association.
Mark Pohlkamp
Special Projects Manager
Mark joined MSP in August 2006 as a Senior Staff Accountant. As the company has grown, Mark grew into becoming the company Controller.
Mark has extensive accounting experience in the property management field. Prior to joining MSP, Mark worked with Carew Properties for 20 years.
Alyssa Kleckler
Development Associate
Alyssa supports the development and construction of new properties as MSP and Heritage Senior Living. Alyssa brings prior experience within the real estate industry and an appreciation for the sense of community real estate development provides its residents.
Alyssa previously worked with Walsh Real Estate Services, LLC as a Real Estate Market Analyst Intern focusing on market research and demographic analysis for metro areas across the US. She also previously worked with Ernst & Young as a Transaction Real Estate Intern, where she focused on real estate valuation and due diligence. Alyssa holds a BBA in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics and a BBA in Accounting from UW-Madison.
Jill Pepper
Controller
Jill Pepper serves as the Controller of MSP Real Estate and Heritage Senior Living. She leads the accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions of the company. Jill has over 18 years of experience in accounting and finance with a focus in the senior living and healthcare industries. Prior to that she worked in public accounting at a local regional firm.
Jill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration from Carroll University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant(CPA).
